About Me
I am Ruth Kutzer, a seamstress and tailor with a lifetime of experience. I operate my business out of my residence located in Pinehurst, North Carolina. When you make an appointment for a fitting, my objective is to customize the garment so that you wear the garment with confidence.
My passion for custom design and alterations began in 4-H and home economics. I trained in the Palmer-Pletsh Method. I was able to tailor my own riding coat, at the age of 10. Growing up in the 1960s it was in vogue to design and sew our own clothes. Retail shopping was an event one dressed up for!
Today, fast fashion and competitive retail pricing offers a challenge to both the consumer and seamstress. I offer a budget friendly solution or a professional sewn option.
